A relatively new trend among job-seekers and career changers, Accountability Groups have been proven to help many individuals maintain a sharp focus and clear strategy for their job search.

In the summer of 2011 we introduced our first Job Search Support & Accountability Groups to help counseling clients stay on track during what might have otherwise been a "lazy" summer vacation. Once again this summer we will create two small (limited to 5 people) well-moderated support groups to keep you on track as you work your plan to achieve specific goals.

Summer Job Search Support & Accountability Groups will meet every two weeks in Wilton, CT:

The second session will begin July 10th and end August 21st

Note: Participation via Skype is also an option.

Program Overview:

Session 1
Wednesday July 10th
10:00 – 11: 30 a.m.
• Introductions
• Overview of group structure and purpose.
• Goal-setting – SMART Goals exercise
• Strategic Job Search discussion/assignment
• Individual action plans

Session 2
Wednesday July 24th
10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• Check-ins on individual action plans
• Review of Strategic Job Search exercise/homework
• Personal Branding discussion
• Branding exercise
• Individual action plans

Session 3
Wednesday August 7th
10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• Check-ins on individual action plans
• Review of branding exercise homework
• Summary statement/resume workshop
• Individual action plans

Session 4
Wednesday August 21st
10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• Check-ins on individual action plans
• Resume reviews
• Strategic Networking (Including LinkedIn & other social media)
• Networking targets exercise
• 90-Day action plans
